 Kozhikode Rural Police is determined to provide the people with an efficient, law abiding and responsive law enforcement machinery.  The objective of the Kozhikode Rural Police is to enforce the law fairly and firmly.  To prevent crimes.  To pursue and bring to justice all those who break the law.  To maintain cooperation with the community.  To do all this with integrity, common sense and sound judgment to protect, help and reassure the people.  We must be compassionate, courteous, and patient, and act without fear, favor, or prejudice toward the rights of others.  In the face of violence we must exercise professionalism, calmness and restraint and use only the force necessary to fulfill our legal duty.  We must try to reduce public fears and, as far as possible, reflect their preferences in the actions we take.  We should respond positively to well-founded criticism.
